WORKSHOPS

TITLE: AWAKENING CREATIVITY

Description: Through a series of guided improv-based movement games, students will explore different path of movement and create new  body shapes on their own and with each other. They will become acutely aware of themselves and of the here-and-now. With the goal of releasing the unnecessary and cultivating a mind and body that is adaptable, malleable, confident, creative, and strong, students will practice getting into "flow state" where anything is possible and new ideas flow freely for their minds and bodies. They will create new works and come away with a fresh, new way of interacting with others and cultivating new ideas. This workshops invite participants to think of movement as a way to ask questions, explore boundaries, and find new ways of creating shapes and transitions with one another.
